And keeping things #GOB, check out Parts 1 & 2 of "The AndJ Mixtape Promocumentary" with the cameos by the good folks G*Two, DJ Soundwave, AP, and of course JE himself.
BE SURE TO WATCH BOTH PARTS!! GOOD STUFF!!
With that, be on the lookout for "The AndJ Mixtape" folks!! #GOB!
I realize it's been a while since I posted anything that wasn't related to music or my folks, so it's about time I get back to that. While surfing the net I found this video and I've watched it TOO many times.
366 Days ago, I released "The L.@.Me Mixtape", which started a lot of things for me. I became MUCH more focused on a strategic takeover and started to get an ever-increasing family of L.@.Mes. Now, get the follow-up to my first solo project here, "L.@.Me 2". Unlike many projects you'll get these days, this is a DOUBLE-PROJECT! In addition to "L.@.Me 2", there is "ITV Episode 1: Trapper Next Door".
"ITV Episode 1: Trapper Next Door" is the first installment of a series I've created in which I'll release several themed projects, each about the length of a TV show (Hence ITV; ITV = Ice the Villain = Ice Television = LOOK AT ME (which you hear a lot from me lol). This first episode (Trapper Next Door) is my relocation from the DMV Area to ATL, so you'll hear that all the beats are southern. Of course I'm not a "trapper", but my product is "dope" and might as well be drugs because I move it practically the same way. Also, seeing as though I'm all about you folks that are supporting my journey, the next episodes will be much more interactive because if YOU have any ideas or suggestions for what the next episode(s) should be about (West Coast Beats, Rock&Roll Beats, songs about women, 90s tracks, songs about politics, ANYTHING) then hit me at IcetheVillain@gmail.com, Twitter.com/IcetheVillain, or just simply respond to this post on the blog!
Anyhow, enough of the chit-chat, just download the music, ENJOY, and SPREAD THE WORD!! Thanks in advance!
Daaaamn riiiight!! A quick leak from my upcoming DOUBLE-PROJECT, "L.@.Me 2". This particular track is called "Rise & Grind" and is produced by LCD. The homie put his FOOT in this track and needless to say, I handled the rest. No delaying... here we go!
Hey folks, I need your help! I recently joined a contest called "16 for $100" and I'm looking for all the votes I can get on my 16 bar verse. I'm the returning champion from the month of January and I'm hoping to win for the month of February as well. If it helps to motivate you any, my birthday is tomorrow and this would be a GREAT gift
(besides downloading "L.@.Me 2" which drops this weekend).
Here's the link, so vote and PLEASE spread the word!
And FNFG continues to drop quality product on your cranium! The homie Lil Dee just released the long-awaited "The Induction" project (hostes by DJ Momo) and it's SURE to hold up to the FNFG standards. The artwork was done by the same cat that did "The Relationship" artwork (KeysNBass).
As I'm sure you're familiar with by now, the homie LCD does n
othing but make bangers, and he produced ALL but one song on the project so you should know what to expect.
The FNFG/Homegrown homie Pizo put together an AMAZING project with all tracks (except one) produced by the homie LCD & Knucklehead. There's not much to say about this project besides that it's a solid listen ALL the way through (and I'm not saying that because it's the homie. Check it out.
Porn star Jayla Starr is getting set to release her directorial debut "There's Something About Jayla..." which will feature the song "U Go Girl" by myself and Lil Dee from the FNFG "Lead By Example" mixtape. Here goes a nice lil promo video for the fellas... I wouldn't play this at work tho! Shouts to the homie Clif Soulo for the connect!
I've realized that while I've been QUITE productive lately, you guys (the MOST important people in this entire situation), wouldn't really know. Of course it's not your fault, but I've been posting funny videos and supporting others so much that I haven't really been keeping you guys up to speed with me.
So, for this #MusicMonday I bring you two songs. One is my version of Maxwell's "Pretty Wings", and the second is an added verse to Trey Songz' "Say Ahh".
The footage below is of the homie G*Two performing live at the Beat Clash held in Washington, DC. You should be quite familiar with G*Two as he has been featured on the site quite a bit. Pardon the sound quality, but you can clearly hear that the response was niiiice. Make sure you have his latest LP, "Sun's Out, Guns Out" with a guest appearance by yours truly.
D.M.V. Disciples (Hosted by DJ Beanz). This project is an ill compilation of some of the DMV's most talented (which of COURSE means that I'm on it). You've heard my feature before ("In Luv Witta Villain"), but you should definitely check out some of the other acts in the area as well. Feel free...
Check out the homie Mr. Brewsky (aka Oral the Comedian), a rising comedian that's been killin' shows in the area and throughout the country. He's got a YouTube show he does often called "Mr. Brewsky's Bar & Grill" that is hilarious. Here's a few episodes.
You can also hear more from Mr. Brewsky as he gives a rather enlightening perspective of sports on the "Speak On It" section of your #1 spot for all your sports needs, www.PlayersVoice.com. Look for some quality moves being made with Mr. Brewsky, myself, and LCD coming right around the corner!
During my most recent trip to ATL to release "The Relationship", I had the honor of being interviewed by Goldyn Smith, the woman behind Xposure Magazine, the new publication to hit streets catering to urban music, fashion and lifestyle. We get into the state of Hip-Hop in my DMV hometown, my history and future in music, as well as the response to "The Relationship".
New music from KLASSAct, an upcoming trio from Atlanta, GA made up of MR., Phresh Ali and Ka-mil-eon. The track is called "Buttafly Bounce". I've just been put onto their music by the homie LCD (who produced the track by the way) and I must say that this song is FAR more than the typical infectious strip club song. Not only does the beat GO (no bias), but the lyrics are quality as well. So you can differentiate, Phresh Ali is on the 1st verse, MR. on the 2nd and Ka-mil-eon adds her vocals during the chorus:
Check out the trailer for "Cover Of A Man", an independent film directed by my cousin by my cousin Terrell Byrd (currently out in Cali doing his acting/directing thing). The trailer is pretty self explanatory so I'll let you watch for yourself. It should be a great movie. I'll keep you posted on the release.
My cousin is the guy that was in the bed w/ the gun when the two chicks crept in on him. LOL.
Ice the Villain...

Remember when you were a child and everything was fun and carefree? Remember when "responsibility" and "reality" kicked in and you realized that life was more than recess, and lunchables? Fast-forward to today...
Welcome to "Venom City". Disease, poverty, hunger, political unrest, and even worse, wack ass music. Things aren't the same anymore. Good thing there's Ice the Villain. Don't think "villain" in the sense of "bad guy", "gangsta", or "ignorant rapper", but when everyone from the once-trusted politicians to record executives are brainwashing and feeding poison, the one bringing something different is probably gonna be viewed as the evildoer, huh? Guess that's me...
